TEEN WEEK PH //

Last Friday, September 26, the #TeenWeekPH event was held at SMX SM Aura Premiere. The event was hosted by the very beautiful Nicole Anderson and my ultimate crush Slater Young! It was an indeed fun night for us especially that I came there with some of my co-bloggers from I Know Write MNL and there's also a lot of food and goodies for everyone! Here's some of the photos I took from the event. :)

Thanks again, Teen Week PH for inviting me to be a part of your awesome event! Can't wait for the next one! <3

WHAT INTERESTS YOU? //

I'd like to see traveling not as a change in geographic location but as a change in perspective that creates different spectrum that makes the typical a whole new more vivid adventure. I love discovering new things and places, and experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Because I always believe in the saying that "Experience is the best teacher" and I know that once you get to experience it, it will always stay in your your memory for a lifetime.

Six years ago, the Universal Studios and Resorts World Singapore are still both under construction back when we we're there. That's why when my mom told me that we're going to visit that country I really can't explain the excitement and happiness that i'm feeling in. Can you see how happy we are in this photo? Haha.

I just really have to take a photo of these two cute kids.

This group of street dancers at the Universal Studios are all Filipinos. They are the former members of the group, Back Street Boys.

"Fashion fades, Style is eternal." I live by the mantra of Coco Chanel everyday. I always make sure that every time I go out I always look presentable by keeping it simple and chic. I always look up to different Fashion blogs, I  love to explore new trends and get inspirations, and put them in my mood board.

If someone ask me to compare myself to anything it would be coffee, because I’m a nocturnal person. I’m like New York, I never sleep. Tell me who wouldn’t love the smell of a fresh brewed coffee? I always try different coffee shops and just wander around. I seriously can’t start my day without coffee and one thing’s for sure, I can’t live without coffee.

They say that "Picture paints a thousand words" and since then I considered it as an art and a hobby. I love taking pictures and printing them. I love taking pictures because there will always be a story behind it. That's why every photo I take is memorable to me.

Photography will always capture my heart and develop me to the person that I will be someday.

ADVENTURE: BOOKAY-UKAY //

ADVENTURE: BOOKAY-UKAY
#78 Maginhawa st. Teacher's Village East, Diliman Quezon City, Philippines
Open Hours: 10:00am - 11:00pm

Recently, my friend and I had a photoshoot at UP Diliman for my photography portfolio. We went there to take photos and at the same time we also want to try this cafe at Maginhawa, since it's near we decided to go there after we shoot. We first tried Cool Beans and I must say that it is really a very nice place! It's a cafe with books, coffees and heavy or light meals and it's really affordable mostly for students who have long vacant periods. After we ate we decided to walk around to see some of the restaurants, milktea places and other shops until we found this store named Bookay-Ukay! Bookay-Ukay is a store where you can find new and old books with cheaper prices. So to all the bookish people out there, you really must visit Bookay-Ukay to find new good reads!

Check out these cool book marks!

And guys, they also sell some albums and Indie movies too!

SM WOMAN HOLIDAY 2014 //

Recently, I got an invite from SM Woman for the Philippine Fashion Week for their Holiday collection 2014. It was my first time to attend an event like this and I don't really know what to do there. So after the I Know Write Manila event, I quickly went there even though I know that i'm already late! But luckily, the event was still not starting so I got to seat before the show starts and I also took a lot of pictures of their collection!

Another successful show again for today! I love the patterns, colors and the styles of this collection. It's all edgy and sexy! From formal to casual and to beach chic outfits. It's really all in for the holiday's!

I KNOW WRITE MANILA: SUMMER WORKSHOP //

Who would've thought that planning and organizing an event would be this fun? But of course, there's still a lot of planning, meeting and brainstorming to do for this event to be successful. What I'm really just proud of with our team is that we really put a lot of effort and the fact that many attended and really enjoyed what we planned and prepare for them truly made us happy. Plus their overwhelming tweets and blog posts really made us want to put another big event hopefully this coming semestrial break! We can't wait to plan and collaborate with other people on our next event! :-)

Check out this cool artwork where all our guest speakers' inspirational words are written!
