THE 1975 //

Last night (which is my first day of summer), I watched The 1975 live at the Ayala Mall TriNoma! I'm really really excited to watch the band and sing along with their songs while jumping/screaming and all! I actually met new people at the event and It's really a great and fun experience for me even though I lined up and waited for four hours just to see them but it's really worth the wait! Until now I still can't get enough of them, to be honest. They're so good! :-)

Super low quality photos I know, 'cause I took a lot of videos than photos yesterday. Oh well, I can't wait for next year!! Matty said that they're going back here in the Philippines. :-)

WHY FASHION INTERSHIP MATTERS? //

Why fashion Internship matters? Simple. It helps teens like me to pursue this kind of interest. It's like my first step on the fashion world since i'm still studying and soul searching. To be honest, I still don't know what I want. I'm still on the fence of choosing what I really like to do but this is where I really find myself. Doing things that makes me happy. I want to be in the fashion world, I want to experience all the fashion faux pass, the glitz and the glamour or in other words, I want to experience it all.

Fashion Internships gives you a glimpse of the world. See for instance, If I will be tasked to go to Philippine Fashion Week and my Editor asked me to put up an article regarding the show, It's really an overwhelming and rare experience 'cause not everybody would have the chance that I have and I would be lucky to experience this, hopefully. It will also hone my skills and mind in this kind of industry, where I get to work with people that I look up to and admire. Meeting some big names in the fashion industry would be my biggest fashion break ever, and what really matters is that you get what you really wanted to do. Maybe at first it may seem hard for me to adjust but I believe that if you love what you're doing, you won't get tired of doing it again and again and again. Simply because it's what I really wanted to do in the first place. And that's the ultimate catch of it, to be happy and gain more knowledge in this industry that I wanted to be in. And I know that this will help me figure out my true passions and get better at them. Blogging helped me build my self confidence and helped me meet awesome people who can relate on my interest in fashion.

Fashion Internships are the future of fashion. Being a fashion Intern opens our young eyes to the world of fashion. Yes there are perks and perils of being one, but I am more determined to pursue this because I know that it will hone me and prepare me in the next few years. Who knows that this girl writing to you right now is the next Anne Wintour or Liz Uy.
